Hello! If you're here, you've heard. I'm holding a summer-long contest on the forum, with the grand prize being a free pass to AWA! This will mostly be a trivia contest, but I might throw some other stuff in The contest will not start until after finals and graduation, so I'll be posting the rules here on May 14th. Every week or every other week (depending on how my schedule works out, and I'll let you know) I'll post the next challenge, so you'll have to check back often! The winner will be announced at the first meeting of the Anime Club in the fall. Good luck with finals! -The Game Master

Hey Gang!
The wait is finally over! Here are the official rules for The Great Summer Contest:
1. A new quest will be posted every Monday by noon Eastern Standard Time. 2. Your answers MUST be sent to me by midnight on Sunday (EST). DON’T post them as replies to this thread (you don’t want anyone else to see your answer!). Instead, message me using the forum message system. 3. Every correct answer will receive 5 points. If you’re the first to send yours in, you’ll get 10 points! At the end of the summer all the points will be calculated and the person with the most points will get a free weekend pass to AWA! 3.5 In the event of a tie… there will be a special contest.
All the quests will be fairly simple to complete. Usually I’ll ask a question, and the answer can be found on the Anime Club website (http://ascanimeclub.wordpress.com/), somewhere in the forum, or through a Google search. Sometimes I'll ask for something a little more involved... a quest to find treasure!
That’s it! If you have any more questions, want me to clarify anything, or are having issues with the forum messenging system, email me at runewen@gmail.com

Sorry about the flaking off last week! As a reward for your persistence on your quest and your patience with me, this week's quest will have an extra-long time limit. Quest #2 will be due at the same time as Quest #3 - in other words, both quests will be due by Sunday June 10th at midnight.
And without further ado, here's your clue:
The following are summaries of anime that have been teaser anime in the past year - except one. Which one WAS NOT a teaser anime, and what anime is it describing?
A. In Tokyo, an impenetrable field known as “Hell’s Gate” appeared ten years ago. At the same time, psychics who wield paranormal powers at the cost of their conscience also emerged. Hei is one of the most powerful of these psychic agents, and along with his blind associate, Yin, works for one of the many rival agencies vying to unlock the mysteries of Hell’s Gate.
B. In a world rife with deadly creatures called "youma", a young silver eyed woman, Clare, works on behalf of an organisation that trains female youma halfbreeds into warriors with the ability to destroy these creatures. Considered a rogue for picking up a stray child & almost losing herself to her youma side by "Awakening", she is constantly assigned rather dangerous missions...
C. On November 22, 2010 ten missiles strike Japan. However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be called as “Careless Monday,” does not result in any apparent victims, and is soon forgotten by almost everyone. Then, 3 months later… Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. But just when she is in front of the White House, Washington DC, she gets into trouble, and only the unexpected intervention of one of her fellow countrymen saves her. However, this man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, is a complete mystery. He appears to have lost his memory. and he is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and the mobile phone he’s holding with the other hand. A phone that is charged with 8,200,000,000 yen in digital cash.
D. Kyoko followed her true love and childhood friend Sho to Tokyo so she could help him reach his dream of becoming an idol. She cleans, cooks, works three jobs and does nothing for herself because she loves him so much, but gets nothing in return. Still, she remains by his side. But then one day she goes unannounced to his agency with a delivery, and overhears him talking about her; he reveals to his manager that he only took her with him as a maid, and that he doesn’t care for her at all. Upon hearing this, Kyoko doesn’t just sit around and cry. She cuts and dyes her hair, changes her clothes and attitude and thus begins her journey to join showbiz and have her revenge against Sho.
E. An elementary school kid dubbed with the title “shounen bat” or “lil slugger” has been going around attacking people with his bent, golden bat. Now, two detectives are investigating so they can stop this kid from making any more attacks, but they will find out soon enough… that this case is much more than they expected.

Hokey Smokes. I'm kinda bad at the regular updating thing, aren't I? Well, since we're about halfway through the summer and the answers I've been getting have be FABULOUSLY quick, I think it's time to step it up.
Next week. Next week's will be trickier. This week's quest involves a hunt through the forums!
As of right now (11:16PM, June 6) there are 15 members in the Anime Club Forum. How many of them do not have post signatures?
Good luck!

(Still a Monday!)
Okay wise guys. Clearly the previous questions have been mere dust on the book covers of your vast libraries of anime knowledge. Try this one on for size.
"Macross Frontier" is the latest (i.e. most recent in series chronology) in the Macross Series. "Macross Zero" is the first. During the events of "Macross Frontier," the main characters participate in the filming of the events of Macross Zero. Which episode does this take place in?
