For after the convention, so we can share what we liked, what we didn't like, what we wished we had gone to instead, what we wished we had or hadn't done, and what our overall experiences were.

OMG I had so much fun. I was a little disappointed in the lack of YuGiOh cosplayers (especially Marik) but I still had fun. It was really flattering being stopped almost all the time to be asked for my photo. Being Thief King Bakura was one of the most awesome experiences of my life and I really want to continue cosplaying as him. I'm thinking of going to Ikkicon (which is in Austin) just so I can cosplay again (and I'll take my brother hahaha).
My favourite event had to be the costume contest. The costumes were amazing and really inspiring. Even though I can't sew, I can at least improve on how I present my character. But what made it really fun was having Maggie, Gwen and Thief King Bakura (who was "drunk") cheering for every single contestant, just shouting out words of encouragement and compliments. We were cheering so hard for each one - we were honestly trying to get smiles from the contestants to see if they heard us (we were second row from the front). However, we were being 100% complete sincere!
Oh, the YuGiOh movie was pretty epic too.
I WANT TO DO MORE COSPLAY!!!!!!

There were actually a lot more Yu-Gi-Oh! cosplayers than I've seen in the past. There were two Ryou Bakuras, you as Thief King Bakura, a Yugi, a Pegasus, a Bandit Keith, and Joey!
I had so much fun in the Maid Café, the Bebop Lounge, the Fancy Pants Tea Party, the Yu-Gi-Oh! movie, the Hetalia Ask a Nation Panel, the Hetalia the Movie premiere, the Mystery Anime Theatre 3000 event - the only thing I hated was waiting 2 hours for Vic Mignogna's autograph. The rumors are true, people, he's an @$$. But Todd Haberkorn is such a sweetie. I swear, he must be made out of sugar, he's so sweet. I filmed his panel (though it was hard holding my camera still, especially when I was trying to ask him a question at the same time as filming.). I wish I had been able to ask him both of my questions, but he was running out of time and really needed to get to the airport, so I gave him the request that he could do really quickly instead of telling us his life story on how he became a voice actor. My cameraman skills during his response to my question were terrible, but at least I have the audio!

Rose, when did you see the two Ryous? I had been looking both days but I only saw two Joey's, Bandit Keith and Yugi.

It was always when I was walking towards something and they were too busy for a picture. But I saw one on the way to the Galleria from the hotel and another outside near the fountain, where we were having the Hetalia photoshoot.

I went to the Yoshitoshi Abe panel and got his autograph. He seems like a pretty awesome guy. Loved Totally Lame Anime and the AMV contest. And seeing all the cosplay was fun. I want to try it sometime...

He talked on the phone with someone for ten minutes, making the line wait even longer for autographs, and then he was way too clingy with the pretty underage girls - in front of their feather mucking parents, giving out unsolicited kisses and - *shudders* Judging from what Todd said during his panel, Vic was probably pestering Todd during the phone conversation. Todd just lets his phone ring and only checks it when it's not going to disrupt anything.
Apparently Vic has also told people to punch Todd in the face next time they see him. Todd turned the whole thing into a joke, though.

I ended up spending pretty much the whole convention in the Dealer's Room/Artist Alley and the AMV room (aka Video Art Track), though I did make the time for the Host Club Event!*
Ended up going to BOTH the Bronies panels (pretty much by accident) and they were both standing-room-only packed. Oh, and I hit up the AMV dance! Which was lots of fun, but I was like, "Hmm, the music is good, but the music at Nerd Prom is better..."
(Something tells me I'm going to have this problem for the rest of my life.)
Went to showings of Read or Die OVA, Lupin III: The Last Job, and Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. Thoroughly enjoyed all of them (must see more Lupin!)
*I totally love the people that do this, I've been going to their events ever since they started, and even though I was kinda disappointed they were charging this year I still went and was a total fangirl.

So I've been searching the internets for hours, but I still have yet to find an image of my cosplay taken by someone else. There are currently 2,000+ images online at this point, and there a even pics of some other obscure anime/movies but none of Thief King Bakura. What is this, I don't even. I think it's because I spent too much time at panels than in the cosplay alley. Oh well, at least I know now.

Keep in mind that I haven't had an opportunity to upload the pictures from the photo camera yet. So there will at least be ONE picture that was no taken by yourself of yourself. And OH MY GOD YOU DID!?!?!?! How was it? I'm pretty sure they only charged because they made it part of the Maid Cafe instead of having their own event for the Ouran stuff like they have done previously.

I had a lot of fun at AWA this year! I saw some many Homestuck cosplays! A couple of my friends cosplayed from Homestuck this year and they pulled it off very well! I cosplayed as a Renaissance looking thief(?)...Or at least that's what it was suppose to be but I ended up looking like a pirate. OTL Oh well!

Yeah, they definitely charged this year because they borrowed Maid Cafe's room and we got drinks and snacks with it. The club wasn't in their usual school uniform - they were wearing military-type uniforms. WHY OH WHY DID I NOT GET ANY PICTURES??!??!
I was a little disappointed that they didn't do the usual team competition and activities (also disappointed in the lack of prizes), but they were really cool anyway and it was fun just watching them. And fangirling out. Did I mention that? I think I vaguely remember Kyoya sitting down at our table and asking him about balancing the club budget...
